Whether you're a social media manager at an agency or an independent social media consultant, you're probably working on 5-10 different brands at the same time, in which case your most valuable asset will be being organized.
Luckily, there are plenty of resources to help you get organized and streamline your social media content publishing tasks.
I have compiled a list of social media content publishing tools that you can use to make posting content a lot more streamlined. of course, to publish content in advance, you have to create content well in advance. Check out my free content calendar template to be a pro social media marketer and plan content well in advance.
These social media management tools can help you manage all your accounts on various platforms in one place, schedule your posts in advance, track performance and analytics, and lots more depending on which tool you're using. Many of these platforms offer limited functions in the free subscription, so depending on your need, you can choose whether to have a free account or a paid one - and it will be worth it in both cases.
Top social media content publishing tools:
Hootsuite Hootsuite is top of the list for me as it's one of the oldest, most reliable tools on the block which I have been using for as far as I can remember. The free plan of Hootsuite includes: - Managing 2 social media profiles - Scheduling 5 posts - Monitor posts and mentions for these profiles in one place You can learn more about their pricing plans here.

Ideal for: Assuming you're looking for a free plan, Hootsuite is ideal for you if you're managing your personal branding / limited pages. You can use Facebook's scheduling tool to schedule content for Facebook and Instagram, and for other accounts like Twitter and LinkedIn, you can use Hootsuite.
It does involve duplication in scheduling, but hey - not everything comes for free, right?
Buffer Buffer is pretty similar to Hootsuite, except after the change by Hootsuite in its free plan, it offers a bit more. The free plan of Buffer includes: - 3 social channels - 10 scheduled posts You can learn more about Buffer's pricing plans and offerings here.

Ideal for: If you're a freelancer or promoting your own business, Buffer is a pretty good place to start as it offers some additional features such as a link shortener and tracker and an image creator.
Zoho Social I personally haven't used Zoho Social much, but it's got features like content scheduling, managing multiple profiles, researching keywords, and more. While it's pretty similar to Hootsuite and Buffer, it does have some pretty cool additional features such as CRM integrations, Facebook lead ads, and some advanced reporting metrics. The Zoho Social free plan includes: - Up to 7 channels for 1 brand - But valid only for 15 days You can learn more about their pricing options here.

Ideal for: While it isn't ideal for your personal branding, freelance business, or small business, Zoho Social seems to have a good plan catered particularly towards agencies wherein they offer a platform where you can work across teams, invite clients, multitask on brand campaigns, and track content from creation to approval.
Later If you spend most of your time on Instagram or if it is the main platform for your social media marketing strategy, Later is one tool you're going to love. Along with scheduling content for Instagram, it allows you to create and get inspired by trending content, dig deep into IG analytics, get the whole #linkinbio set-up, hashtag suggestions; basically everything Instagram-friendly. The free plan of Later is awesome and includes: - 1 social set (Facebook / Instagram/ Pinterest / Twitter / LinkedIn) - 10 posts per month per social profile You can learn more about their free and paid pricing plans here.

Ideal for: Later is perfect for freelancers, personal branding enthusiasts, and small businesses too. Their paid plans are also not very expensive and are good for smaller marketing agencies or a team of independent social media managers.
These 4 platforms should address all your social media content publishing and scheduling needs. However, if you'd like to explore more tools, here are a few more worth checking out:
I hope you found this list useful.
